Challenges of automation technology
The 8th SME Day of the Center for SMEs took place together with the Innovation Network Saxony VEMASinnovativ. At the all-day event on April 12, 2018 in the presentation and exhibition area of HTW Dresden, the challenges of automation technology, especially for medium-sized companies, were discussed. Presentations were held on the topics:
- Networking of components in automation technology
- Industrial assistance systems in production and automation
- Ways to qualified personnel
took place.
In addition, the Industry 4.0 model factory of the HTW Dresden could be visited.
4th Saxon AUTOMATION Day
Already for the fourth time, the 4th Saxon AUTOMATION Day "Challenges in Automation Technology" took place at the University of Applied Sciences in Dresden on April 12, 2018, this year as part of the 8th SME Day. Organized by the industry working group AUTOMATION of VEMASinnovativ as well as the faculties of electrical engineering, economics and computer science/mathematics of the HTW Dresden, this year's event focused on the topics "Networking of components in automation technology", "Industrial assistance systems in production and automation" and "Ways to qualified personnel". More than 100 participants took advantage of the opportunity to exchange information at the 10 information booths in the accompanying exhibition and to visit the model factory of HTW Dresden, as well as the wide range of information provided by the 14 expert lectures.
