Process and Innovation Management
The Chair of Process and Innovation Management has two main research areas: First, relevant methods of process and quality management, e.g. Lean Six Sigma, are investigated and further developed. Secondly, there is a focus on methods and processes of transfer and innovation management. In this context, a BMBF-funded joint project is currently being carried out. Under the heading Transfer_i, a system of indicators is being developed together with other universities to evaluate the transfer of knowledge and technology into the involved innovation systems. There are various cooperations with research institutes, e.g. Fraunhofer, and companies, e.g. Procter & Gamble.
Apart from application-oriented research, the professorship is involved in the development of innovative teaching formats. Since 2017, the Industry Research Project Week (IRPW) has been offered as a cooperative teaching arrangement with TU Dresden. In addition, company representatives are regularly included in seminars and lectures.
