Branch library Pillnitz
In the Pillnitz branch library you will find literature on the subjects of horticulture, agriculture and forestry, the environment, as well as landscape and open space development. A large reading room with current specialist journals, numerous group and individual workstations and a book scanner are available on site. The library of the Saxon State Office for the Environment, Agriculture and Geology (LfULG) is also located in the same building.
Use of the HTWD Pillnitz branch library holdings
The HTWD library catalogue is generally the best tool for researching printed and digital media. All holdings can be borrowed by registered users from both the Central Library and the Branch Library and ordered there if necessary. In this case, please use our book order form. All university library media can be returned at both locations, regardless of the branch where they are held. On weekdays between 6 and 18 o'clock you can also use the return box in the cloakroom directly in front of the library entrance door.

Despite shared opening hours and shared spaces, you will find two separate libraries on site:
The literature of the LfULG library in Dresden-Pillnitz can be found via the OPAC (library catalogue) of the SMEKUL network. The LfULG's holdings can be borrowed by HTWD members after registration. External users can apply for registration on site. All collections can be used here without registration. Media from the LfULG library can only be returned in Pillnitz.
