We are happy to use our expertise to support employees in acquiring foreign language qualifications. In this way, we are making a further contribution to the internationalization of our university. As an employee, you have several options for optimizing your foreign language skills:

  • Individual and group coaching in the summer semester: Individual coaching consisting of five teaching hours is available to interested lecturers, which can be aggregated into more extensive group coaching if necessary. The appointment is coordinated individually with everyone involved. The aim is to practice the confident use of the English language in courses and thus develop your own language skills.
  • Online language learning: You are welcome to benefit from our cooperations.
  • Semester-accompanying English courses: In individual cases, you also have the opportunity to take part in our language modules in the Studium Integrale. Please do not hesitate to contact us about this.
  • External English training in various formats: Through a cooperation with an established and internationally active language school, we can offer you various event formats in the field of English training with side effects for cultural awareness and team development. The courses can take place in England as well as in Germany or other European countries. Funding through Erasmus+ is possible; any remaining costs are to be borne by the respective organizational unit. If you are interested, we will be happy to provide you with further information on this extensive additional offer.
