The HTW Dresden is a regionally anchored and internationally oriented university with a wide range of practice-oriented courses combined with a variety of experience in application-oriented research.
The internationalsation of the HTW Dresden - University of Applied Sciences is a cross-cutting task that radiates into all areas of the organisation and involves all actors within the university as well as external partners on this path. Central functions of the International Office are
internal strategic orientation and permanent implementation of the internationalisation task,
representation of the HTW Dresden in matters of international relations with institutions in Germany and abroad,
international coordination and initiation of inter institutional agreements,
coordination of mobility programmes for students and university staff within the framework of the Erasmus+ programme of the European Union and DAAD funding programmes.
