Nearly all subjects in the fields of electrical power engineering and drive technology, automation technology and technical informatics, communications technology and communication networks as well as mechatronic systems and vehicle mechatronics use the CAD laboratory for demonstrations and practical work, for the preparation of papers, student research projects and theses as well as during project work. Sufficient PCs including the necessary software are available for this purpose. All computers are networked and connected to other national and international computer networks via the Internet. In addition, individual use outside of courses is possible.
