The Technical Department acts as a link between the building administration office, the state enterprise SIB NL Dresden II and the HTW Dresden in the maintenance and expansion of the building substance and the building's technical systems as well as in the user-side processing of tasks of construction planning and implementation and property management. In addition, the technical department at the university is involved in the coordination and implementation of health, safety and fire protection issues.
