faranto: "International is in!"

The faranto e.V. of the HTW Dresden introduces itself:

faranto is a local student association that takes care of all foreign students at the HTW Dresden. Our goal is to integrate them quickly and make their stay in Dresden unforgettable.

Therefore, we help the exchange students upon their arrival in Dresden and with the organization of their studies. With excursions, exciting city trips and various events we create variety and bring you closer to the German culture. But they also show us in return, at our monthly faranto country parties, the advantages of their homeland.

Furthermore, with the help of language tandems, we not only promote the linguistic success of our guest students, but also that of our tandem partners.

Since October 2001 we have been organising this important support together with the International Office and the International Office. In spring 2003, the association became a recognized member of the Erasmus Student Networks ESN Germany and ESN International and received the ERASMUS Prize in the summer semester 2010.

We are students of different faculties at the HTW Dresden who are interested in getting to know people from other countries and cultures.
