Study in Taiwan

TAItech

In the HAWtech University Alliance, six Universities of Applied Sciences (HAW) that are leaders in STEM subjects have joined forces, including HTWD. Taiwanese universities followed this idea in February 2017 and founded the Taiwan University Alliance for Applied Sciences (TAItech). Members of the TAItech alliance are:

- National Chin-Yi University of Technology (NCUT), Taichung
- National Taiwan University of Science and Technology (NTUST), Taipei
- National Taipei University of Technology (NTUT), Taipei
- National Yunlin University of Science and Technology (NYUST), Yunlin
- National Formosa University of Science and Technology (NHUST), Yunlin
- National Kaohsiung University of Science and Technology (NKUST), Kaohsiung 

An important cooperation topic is the increased exchange of students and teachers. Students from both alliances have the opportunity of a study or practical stay or participation in summer schools and study trips to get to know the partner institutions. This opens up new opportunities for students to deepen their study content in an Asian country and to build and expand personal perspectives.
