In this workshop we will explore the meaning of culture and intercultural competence. Through simulations and practical exercises we will discover different ways of understanding and developing intercultural competence, we will get to know intercultural communication strategies and experience challenges and opportunities in intercultural cooperation.

“Strength through networking - How university communication can succeed with limited resources”

Small universities generally do not have large communications departments, yet they too must fulfill the various tasks of communication. In this workshop, we would like to work out together how a broad network in the university can support the central communications department and how both sides can benefit from lateral cooperation. Supporting young entrepreneurs – entrepreneurship services @HTWD Come along on a guided tour of our startup incubator, meet different startups and find out how HTWD helps to grow young entrepreneurs.

Airport Dresden International

Airport Dresden International (DRS) is located in the north of Dresden. We recommend to take the city train „S2“ (train station under the airport) to the main train station („Hauptbahnhof“) to reach the city center in ca. 20 minutes. The train runs every 30 minutes. You need a single ticket in the Dresden fare zone (valid on S-Bahn, tram and bus)

Dresden is served by two big train stations („Dresden Neustadt“ and „Dresden Hauptbahnhof“). Please make sure that your train arrives to the main train station (Hauptbahnhof).
